Driving with style matters. Following a judgment in the Daunais versus Honda Canada Inc. class action, Honda Civic (2006-2013) and Acura CSX (2006-2011) vehicle owners are entitled to compensation for premature paint deterioration. To reach affected owners, CBG Avocat hired Imédia for media planning, advertising campaign design, and the creation of a landing page for the class action documentation and claim form.

People buy a car based on various criteria such as reliability, safety, or fuel economy, but let's be honest: style matters! Whether you're the type of person who adds neon lights under your car or attaches eyelashes to your headlights, every owner has their own style. It goes without saying that premature paint deterioration is never the style you’re after.

Using a friendly illustrative style developed by Vincent Tourigny, the campaign presents the issue without dramatizing the situation. The minimalist visual universe reflects the colours of the Honda and Acura brands, and the advertising campaign highlights the substantial claim amount to motivate our targets to visit the landing page drivewithstyle.ca.

To reach our rather eclectic audience, the campaign included motion design, digital initiatives, a radio ad explaining the claims process, and a retargeting phase aimed at convincing the less motivated among us. With its 30,000,000 advertising impressions, the campaign sparked the curiosity of over 350,000 people who visited the website to learn more about the class action. Of this number, 80,000 subsequently started to fill out the claim form.
